Beginning of the month.
It’s good friday.
I am sitting here doing my bank transfers.
Shouldn’t I do something else on Good Friday?
No it has to be.
The claims are due.

Some amount hurts with a low income.
But I pay.
It must be.
I compensate.

Good Friday.
Then I think of Jesus.
He also settles outstanding amounts, due invoices, so that no one can make a claim.
To me.
To you.
He’s paying off our loans. He pays our debt.

Good Friday.
Jesus balances my account and gives his life to it.

Monatsanfang.
Es ist Karfreitag.
Ich sitze hier und mache meine Banküberweisungen.
Sollte ich an Karfreitag nicht anderes tun?
Nein es muss sein.
Die Forderungen sind fällig.

Mancher Betrag tut schon weh bei kleinem Einkommen.
Doch ich bezahle.
Es muss sein.
Ich gleiche aus.

Karfreitag.
Da fällt mir Jesus ein.
Auch er begleicht offene Beträge, fällige Rechnungen, damit niemand mehr eine Forderung stellen kann.
An mich.
An dich.
Er tilgt unsere Kredite. Er tilgt unsere Schuld.

Karfreitag.
Jesus gleicht mein Konto aus und setzt sein Leben dafür ein.
