Hope – a gift
Where hope comes in, despair vanishes. Everything is changing. Everything is in motion. Nothing is more reliable.
While few indulge in wealth and due to power, influence, status, they realize themselves without limits and are never satisfied inside, others struggle every day for bare survival, for eating, drinking, housing, jobs, protection, physical integrity, and toast constantly narrow limits.
If there were no hope, the heart would break. – How is your heart doing?
Is it worried by the uncertain situation in this world?
Is it paralyzed by the uncertainty that lies ahead of you?
Is it speechless given the unsolvable problems to which you have no answer?
Hope. What’s this?
It is the belief in something that is greater than your own existence. It is not to be found in science, modern technology or government.
Hope is like the first sunbeam that appears behind the horizon in the morning and announces „night is over, day is coming“
Hope is like the cry of a newborn child that was hidden and tied to the mother, now free and alive.
Hope is like a little plant pushing itself through the hard asphalt and says „hey, you can do that too“
Light a match and light a candle. You will feel how this little flame suddenly fills the room with warm light and makes it friendly. Hope drives away the darkness. Is your light on? Do you have hope?
„I am the light of the world, whoever follows me will not wander in the darkness, but he has the light of life.

If Christ is in you, in your heart – and there you can invite him – then the light of the world resides in you, then there is hope in you.
Jesus came into this world to open the doors and windows of your soul and to let his light of redemption shine there, even more so to fill your soul and your spirit with it.
When the world shouts in your face: Give up! Hope whispers in your ear: try it.
„Therefore I wish for all of you that God, who gives this hope, fills you with great joy and complete peace in your faith, so that your hope can grow through the power of the Holy Spirit“.

nach obenHoffnung – ein Geschenk
Wo die Hoffnung einzieht, da macht sich die Verzweiflung aus dem Staub.
Alles ist im Wandel. Alles ist in Bewegung. Auf nichts ist mehr Verlass.
Während wenige im Reichtum schwelgen und aufgrund von Macht, Einfluss, Status sich grenzenlos selbstverwirklichen und dabei innerlich nie satt werden, kämpfen andere täglich um das nackte Überleben, um Essen, Trinken, Wohnung, Job, Schutz, körperliche Unversehrtheit und stoßen dabei unaufhörlich an zu enge Grenzen.
Gäbe es die Hoffnung nicht, dann würde das Herz zerbrechen. – Wie geht es deinem Herzen?
Ist es beunruhigt durch die unsicheren Lagen in dieser Welt?
Ist es gelähmt von der Ungewissheit die vor dir liegt?
Ist es sprachlos angesichts der unlösbaren Probleme auf die du keine Antwort hast?
Hoffnung. Was ist das?
Es ist der Glaube an etwas das größer ist als das eigene Dasein. Es ist weder in der Wissenschaft, noch in den modernen Technologien oder den Regierungen zu finden.
Hoffnung ist wie der erste Sonnenstrahl der am Morgen hinter dem Horizont auftaucht und verkündet „die Nacht ist vorbei, der Tag kommt“
Hoffnung ist wie der Schrei eines neugeborenen Kindes, das verborgen und an die Mutter gebunden war, nun frei ist und lebt.
Hoffnung ist wie eine kleine Pflanze die sich durch den harten Asphalt schiebt und sagt „hey, das kannst du auch“
Entzünde ein Streichholz und entzünde eine Kerze. Du wirst spüren wie diese kleine Flamme den Raum plötzlich mit warmem Licht erfüllt und ihn freundlich macht. Hoffnung vertreibt die Dunkelheit. Brennt dein Licht? Hast du Hoffnung?
„Ich bin das Licht der Welt, wer mir nachfolgt, der wird nicht in der Finsternis umherirren, sondern der hat das Licht des Lebens.

Ist Christus in dir, in deinem Herzen – und dort hin kannst du ihn einladen – dann wohnt das Licht der Welt in dir, dann ist Hoffnung in dir.
Jesus kam in diese Welt um die Türen und Fenster deiner Seele zu öffnen und sein Licht der Erlösung dort hin leuchten zu lassen, ja noch mehr, deine Seele und deinen Geist damit zu erfüllen.
Wenn die Welt dir ins Gesicht schreit: Gib auf! Flüstert die Hoffnung in dein Ohr: Versuch es.
„Deshalb wünsche ich für euch alle, dass Gott, der diese Hoffnung schenkt, euch in eurem Glauben mit großer Freude und vollkommenem Frieden erfüllt, damit eure Hoffnung durch die Kraft des Heiligen Geistes wachse“. Römerbrief 15, 13
