Hopeful life
I’m always fascinated. God, the God of hope, the inventor of hope, so to speak, left his thoughts for us in a book. Title „Hope for All“. I’m convinced it’s the Guidance for a hopeful life.

To all who are totally under pressure, because there’s so much required: Come to me! I will make sure you can relax. – Matthew 11: 28
God is my main gain! I am 100% secure. That’s why I put my trust on him. I have a legitimate hope that everything will be fine. – Book of Lamentations 3,24
One thing is one hundred percent sure: God loves us! Otherwise he hadn’t given us the connection to his power, the Holy Spirit. If he is in us, then we are filled with his love! Jesus, the chosen one, came to us when we were hopelessly stuck in the mud. And he died for us, while we didn’t care about God. Honestly, would we die for a single good man?
God did it and still more than that. He proved his love for us by the fact that Jesus died for us, even though we were still totally filthy and bad. We no longer need to be afraid of God and his condemnation, he is no longer angry with us. By the death of Jesus everything is paid! We are reconciled. We were his enemies, but not anymore. This was only possible because Jesus died for us. And now we are even his friends, and because Jesus lives, we can also live. We totally freak out when we realize that we can be friends with God again! All this was possible only through Jesus. Romans 5:5 ff.
This is no empty talk. God is not a politician. He stands by his statements. His word is alive and full of power, able to work out for which it was sent. (Isaiah 55:11)
Well, isn’t it hope?!
Therefore, I wish you all, that God who gives this hope, will fill you with great joy and perfect peace so that your hope may grow through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

nach obenHoffungsvolles Leben
Ich bin immer wieder auf’s Neue fasziniert. Gott, der Gott der Hoffnung, der Erfinder der Hoffnung sozusagen, hat für uns seine Gedanken in einem Buch hinterlassen. Titel „Hoffnung für Alle“, es ist die Anleitung für ein hoffnungsvolles Leben.
Einige Beispiele:
An alle, die total unter Druck stehen, weil so viel von ihnen verlangt wird: Kommt zu mir! Ich werde dafür sorgen, dass ihr euch so richtig entspannen könnt. – Matthäus 11,28
Gott ist mein Hauptgewinn, da bin ich mir innerlich hundertprozentig sicher. Deswegen setze ich auf ihn, darum hab ich eine berechtigte Hoffnung, dass alles gut wird. – Klagelieder 3,24
Eins ist für uns hundertprozentig sicher: Gott liebt uns! Sonst hätte er uns nicht den Anschluss an seine Kraft, den Heiligen Geist, spendiert. Wenn der in uns ist, dann sind wir abgefüllt mit seiner Liebe! Jesus, der Auserwählte, kam ja bei uns vorbei, als wir noch hoffnungslos im Dreck steckten. Und er ist für uns gestorben, als Gott uns noch total egal war. Mal ehrlich, wer hat von uns denn schon Bock, bloß für einen einzigen guten Menschen zu sterben? Gott ist aber noch derber drauf als das. Er beweist seine Liebe für uns dadurch, dass Jesus für uns gestorben ist, obwohl wir sogar noch total dreckig und schlecht waren. Wir brauchen keinen Schiss mehr vor Gott und seiner Verurteilung zu haben, er ist nicht mehr sauer auf uns! Durch den Tod von Jesus ist alles bezahlt! Wir waren seine Feinde, aber damit ist es jetzt vorbei. Das war nur möglich, weil sein Sohn für uns gestorben ist. Und jetzt sind wir sogar seine Freunde, und weil Jesus lebt, können wir auch leben. Wir rasten alle total aus, wenn wir uns darüber klarwerden, dass wir wieder mit Gott befreundet sein können! Das ist alles erst durch Jesus möglich geworden. Römer 5, 5 ff.
Das ist kein leeres Geschwätz. Gott ist kein Politiker. Er steht zu seinen Aussagen. Sein Wort ist lebendig und voller Kraft, es bewirkt, wozu er es gesprochen hat. (Jesaja 55, 11)
Na, wenn das kein Grund zum Hoffen ist?!
Deshalb wünsche ich für euch alle, dass Gott, der diese Hoffnung schenkt, euch in eurem Glauben mit großer Freude und vollkommenem Frieden erfüllt, damit eure Hoffnung durch die Kraft des Heiligen Geistes wachse. – Römer 15,13
