It is easy to lose hope, if one does not know why one should hold hope. What’s the point?
Hope against all odds?
Hope, if there is really no more reason to do so?
Hope, whoever will remain is rewarded in the end.
Christians have a hope that goes beyond this life. Christ in us, the hope of glory.
We are only passing through here.
And whoever puts his trust in God, in his help and support, will not be disappointed.
Hoping for God, that is, my hope has a goal. God, there I fix my heart, my expectation.
Hoping for God, that is, my hope comes and is taken seriously.
Hoping for God, that means, trusting in him, whose arms are longer than mine, whose possibilities begin where mine cease.
Hope needs a goal to withstand all threats.
Christ. He has not only spoken of God’s new world but also embodied it.
He who believes in him will live, even if he dies.
(John 11, 25)
We know what God keeps his promises. Our hope is not in vain.

Es ist leicht die Hoffnung zu verlieren,
wenn man nicht weiß, warum man die Hoffnung festhalten soll. Was bringt es?
Hoffen gegen alle Wahrscheinlichkeit?
Hoffen, wenn es eigentlich keinen Grund mehr dazu gibt.
Hoffnung, wer dranbleibt wird am Ende belohnt.
Christen haben eine Hoffnung, die über dieses Leben hinaus geht. Christus in uns, die
Hoffnung auf die Herrlichkeit. Wir sind hier nur auf der Durchreise.
Und wer sein Vertrauen auf Gott und seine Hilfe und seinen Beistand setzt, der wird nicht enttäuscht.
Hoffen auf Gott, dass heißt meine Hoffnung hat ein Ziel. Gott, dort mach ich mein Herz, meine Erwartung
fest.
Hoffen auf Gott, dass heißt meine Hoffnung kommt an und wird ernst genommen.
Hoffen auf Gott, dass heißt ich vertrau mich dem an, dessen Arme länger sind als meine,
dessen Möglichkeiten dort anfangen, wo meine aufhören.
Hoffnung braucht ein Ziel, um aller Bedrohung stand zu halten.
Ein Ziel, das ewig bestand hat: Christus.
Er hat nicht nur von Gottes neuer Welt gesprochen, sondern sie auch verkörpert.
Wer an ihn glaubt, der wird leben, auch wenn er stirbt, denn Jesus ist die Auferstehung und das Leben.
(Johannes 11, 25)
Wir wissen, was Gott verspricht, dass hält er auch ein. Unsere Hoffnung ist nicht umsonst.
