Laughter and happiness makes you healthy

What clinic clowns have found out and now live out and for which science appears to have no foundation, that has been tested and was functioning over thousands of years: A happy heart is the best medicine, but a desperate mind weakens a person’s power. (Proverbs 17, 22 – the bible)
Giving back a smile and laughter to sad, lonely and sick people, that’s what the clinic-clowns do with excellence, they are increasing the chances to be cured. Lachen und Fröhlich sein helfen heilen

Was die Clinic-Clowns herausgefunden haben und ausleben, und wofür die Wissenschaft anscheinend keine Begründung hat, das steht schon seit Tausenden von Jahren fest und funktioniert: Ein fröhliches Herz ist die beste Medizin, ein verzweifelter Geist aber schwächt die Kraft eines Menschen. (Bibel, Buch der Sprichworte 17,22)

Traurigen, einsamen und (tod)kranken Menschen ein Lächeln und Lachen auf’s Gesicht zu zaubern, das können Clinic-Clowns exzellent und damit erhöhen sie die Heilungschance. Sie haben immer ein Stück Hoffnung im Gepäck und damit das so bleibt, lohnt sich jede Spende, sei sie auch noch so klein, um ihr Engagment zu unterstützen und das Leben anderer fröhlicher zu machen.

Es entwickelten sich viele Organisationen, die Clinic-Clowns ausbilden, die in die Krankenhäuser und Heime gehen. Einfach genial! Wenn Geld keine Rolle spielen würde, dann wäre ich einer davon…

Megablow – Der Hammer

This is awesome! A megablow!

Who is contemptuously treated, even despised by people, who seems to be worthless, this ones God is asking for. But everything that people value so much God declared to be null and void. He chose what is not considered to be important to do away with what is considered to be important. So no one can brag to God  (1. Cor. 27, 28-29 – the bible).

This gives me courage and hope.

Das ist der Hammer! Der Megablow!

Wer von Menschen geringschätzig behandelt, ja verachtet wird, wer bei ihnen nichts zählt, den will Gott für sich haben. Aber alles, worauf Menschen so großen Wert legen, das hat Gott für null und nichtig erklärt. Vor Gott kann sich niemand etwas auf sein Können einbilden. (1. Korinther 27, 28-29)

Das macht mir Mut und Hoffnung.

What if…

Recently I saw billboards with the following slogan

Nonsense! New Start, it would be nice.

Well, it works. So, when I once again – could push – Stop – Rewind – then …

… I would do something totally unpopular, but existential.  As a child or teen I would take God seriously and let his word, the Bible, be my decision support at the crossroads of life.
I guess things would have been better, from my early age on I would live my destiny. Having God as a encouraging, advicing, understanding friend is the best thing to happen as a youngster.

… I would not subordinate myself to an undifined ‚one‘ just because ‚one‘ expects it, or because it’s ‚trendy‘ or ‚it’s the way it always went‘ or ‚all the others‘ are doing it. I would listen to the small voice of my heart, to God who speaks to me in love and wisdom. That’s the best advice in the world!

… I would fight to live my dream, my passion, my calling. I feel it as a child, but I was afraid to share it, to believe in it, do demand it.  No longer would I surrender to ‚this does not work, we can not afford it‘ ‚or ‚this is an unprofitable art, do something decent‘. I would not agree with discouragement that no one sees my potential; that no one is interested in my dreams.
I would not be ashamed of my dreams. I would believe on my own, walk alone, vouch for it alone. God would have been on my side.

Unfortunately, I have met God as an adult, steps were taken, many important decisions were made. Some could be changed, some not. But very crucial things God always can put on ‚zero‘, on ‚Start‘, to ‚factory settings‘: debt. No matter how much crap we have built, no matter how old we are, God always listens if we ask for forgiveness. He fulfills our desire, eliminating the ‚waste‘ in our hearts, the ’scrap‘ in our lives.

From now – we can take him seriously and bring forth a revolution of good to our future. From now – we can stand up for our heart’s desires. As long asthey are in God’s plan, we have a powerful ally on our side. We are now able not to be resentful, but allowed and able to bring the burden of our own and others blame to God, he will take it and remove it. From now. New start possible.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. – 2. Corinthians 5, 17-18

Was, wenn…

Kürzlich sah ich Plakatwände mit folgendem Slogan:

Quatsch, so was geht nicht! Neuanfangen, schön wär’s.

Geht schon. Also, wenn ich nochmals – Stopp – Rewind – drücken könnte, dann…

… würde ich etwas total unpopuläres, aber existentielles tun. Ich würde Gott schon als Kind oder Teeny ernstnehmen und sein Wort, also die Bibel, meine Entscheidungshilfe an den Kreuzungen des Lebens sein lassen. Ich glaube vieles wäre besser verlaufen, ich wäre dann schon als kleiner Mensch in meiner Bestimmung. Gott als Freund zu haben, der ermutigt, der berät, der versteht, ist das Beste was einem als junger Mensch passieren kann.

… würde ich mich nicht mehr dem ‚man‘ unterordnen, nur weil ‚man‘ das so macht, weil es ‚in‘ ist oder ’schon immer so war‘ oder die ‚anderen‘ auch so machen. Ich würde auf die Stimme meines Herzens hören, auf Gott, der in Liebe und Weisheit zu mir redet. Das ist die beste Beratung der Welt!

… würde ich dafür kämpfen das tun zu dürfen, was ich als den Traum meines Lebens bezeichne, meine Leidenschaft, meine Berufung. Ich fühlte es als Kind, doch ich traute mich nicht es wirklich auszusprechen, einzufordern, daran zu glauben. Ich würde mich nicht mehr mit ‚das geht nicht, das können wir uns nicht leisten‘ oder ‚das ist eine brotlose Kunst, mach was anständiges‘ abspeisen lassen. Ich würde mich nicht davon entmutigen lassen, dass keiner mein Potential sieht, dass keiner an meinen Träumen interessiert ist. Ich würde alleine glauben, alleine gehen, alleine dafür einstehen. Und Gott wäre auf meiner Seite.

Leider habe ich Gott erst als erwachsene Frau kennengelernt, viele Weichen waren gestellt, viele wichtige Entscheidungen im Leben schon getroffen. Manches ließ sich verändern,
manches nicht mehr. Doch sehr entscheidende Dinge, kann Gott immer wieder auf ‚Null‘, auf ‚Anfang‘, auf ‚Werkseinstellung‘ setzen: Schuld. Egal wie viel Mist wir gebaut haben,
egal wie alt wir sind, Gott hat immer ein offenes Ohr, wenn wir ihn um Vergebung bitten. Er erfüllt unseren Wunsch und beseitigt den ‚Müll‘ in unserem Herzen, den ‚Schrott‘ in
unserem Leben.
Wir können ihn ab jetzt ernstnehmen und es wird eine Revolution des Guten in unserer Zukunft bewirken.
Wir können ab jetzt für unsere Herzenswünsche aufstehen. Wenn sie in Gottes Plan sind, haben wir einen allmächtigen Verbündeten an unserer Seite.
Wir können ab jetzt nicht mehr nachtragend sein, sondern die Last der eigenen und fremden Schuld bei Gott abgeben. Er wird sie nehmen und entsorgen.

Ab jetzt. Neu anfangen möglich.

„Das bedeutet aber, wer mit Christus lebt, wird ein neuer Mensch. Er ist nicht mehr derselbe, denn sein altes Leben ist vorbei. Ein neues Leben hat begonnen!

Miracle from your mouth – Wunder aus deinem Mund

A miracle out of your mouth

My husband has experienced a lot of miracles while he in his youthful levity was checking the laws of physics. I, however, did not experience this type of protection and healing.
I am aware of the huge variety of expressions we have and I know that only tiny little differences between the animals and our genome are responsible for this. That’s what I call a miracle.

We talk, write, sing, … in a completely different dimension as animals do. We have words. A unimaginable quantity of words in just one language and there are about 7000 languages in the whole world.

We talk and something happens. We order a pizza, it will be delivered. We tell a joke, others laugh. Our boss gives instructions that are implemented. We give voice commands to our NAVI and it will calculate the route. – Why do we doubt that God gave instructions and the world came into excistence?

Words have power. They can do well and they can literally kill. – God says about his Word, that it will not return empty, but it shall accomplish what he desires and achieve the purpose for which he sent it (Isaiah 55, 11). God gave Abraham promises and although these things did not exist, Abraham spoke about it as if it would already e created. He spoke in existence.

The vernacular talks about a „self-fulfilling prophecy “ or knows how to “sugarcoat“ with words. In each of these phrases there’s a life experience of past generations. I am convinced that the words we speak and listen to, trigger something. Words create something outside of our being, think of the press that raises someone into the sky or bullying or character assassination. Words create something in us, thoughts that become firm convictions, which determine our attitudes, actions, lifestyle and the nature of our inner beeing.

I have realized that God’s promises make me feel good. They build me up, inside. They create hope and confidence. Try it! Listen and talk aloud to yourself (‘preach’ to yourself) what God says about you in his Word. Below you find a german example as MP3.

So faith comes by hearing, and hearing comes from the Word of God. – Romans 10, 17

Wunder aus deinem Mund

Mein Mann hat viele Wunder erlebt, während er in seinem jugendlichen Leichtsinn meinte, die physikalischen Gesetze überprüfen zu müssen. Ich hingegen kenne diese Art von Schutz und Heilung nicht.

Ein Wunder ist für mich schon die Tatsache, dass wir uns lediglich in winzigen Details von den Tieren unterscheiden und doch so viel mehr Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten haben als sie. Wir haben Worte. So unvorstellbar viele Worte in einer Sprache und circa 7000 Sprachen auf ganzen der Welt.

Wenn wir reden, dann geschieht etwas. Wir bestellen eine Pizza, sie kommt. Wir erzählen einen Witz, andere lachen. Der Chef gibt Anweisungen, sie werden umgesetzt. Wir geben unserem Navi Sprachbefehle und es berechnet die Route. Warum bezweifeln wir, dass Gott Anweisungen gab und die Welt entstand? Worte haben Macht. Sie können gut tun und sie können buchstäblich töten.
Gott sagt über sein Wort, dass es nie leer zurückkommt, sondern bewirkt, wozu es ausgesandt wurde (Jesaja 55,11). Es hat Kraft. – Gott gab Abraham einige Versprechen und obwohl diese Dinge noch nicht existierten, sprach Abraham so darüber, als wäre bereits alles wahr. Er sprach sie buchstäblich in Existenz. Das glaubst du nicht?

Wir kennen im Volksmund die Redewendung „Unheil herbeireden“ oder etwas „Schön reden“. In jeder Redensart steckt Lebenserfahrung vergangener Generationen. Ich bin davon überzeugt, dass Worte, die wir aussprechen und Worte, die wir hören etwas auslösen. Sie erschaffen etwas außerhalb unseres Seins, denken wir nur an die Presse, die jemanden in den Himmel hebt oder an Mobbing bis hin zum Rufmord. Worte erschaffen auch etwas in uns, nämlich Gedanken, die zu festen Überzeugungen werden. Sie bestimmen unsere Einstellung, unser Handeln, unseren Lifestyle, die Beschaffenheit unseres Inneren.

Ich habe erkannt, dass Gottes Zusagen mir gut tun. Sie bauen mich innerlich auf. Sie geben mir Hoffnung und Zuversicht. Probier’s aus. Hör zu und rede laut zu dir selbst (‚predige‘ dir selbst) was Gott über dich in seinem Wort sagt. Unten ein Beispiel:

So kommt der Glaube aus der Predigt, das Predigen aber aus dem Wort Gottes. – Römerbrief 10, 17

… einfach keinen Bock auf Hilfe

Sie wollten beweisen, dass sie es alleine hinkriegen würden.

Wenn wir uns umschauen, sehen wir, dass wir noch immer vom Paradies träumen, aber bis jetzt nicht dort angekommen sind. Versagen zugeben? Niemals! Lieber leugnen, dass es Gott gibt oder Ersatzgötter machen, die können dem wahren und lebendigen Gott zwar nicht das Wasser reichen, aber wenigstens ist das Loch im Herzen ausgefüllt, der Platz den nur der lebendige Gott der Bibel wirklich ausfüllen kann, der Eigentümer der Wellness-Oase.

Der Sohn des Eigentümers meinte: „Dad, ich kann doch die Strafe auf mich nehmen, den Schaden wieder gut machen und für sie bürgen, dann wäre doch alles okay, oder?“

What about life? – Wohin mit dem Leben?

What about life?

Here today, gone tomorrow… then irrevocably away forever ?!

Life has a single thread. Whether you believe it or not, the goal remains the same for all: Death. End of life.

This is not the end! It goes on, for all. Relieved?

But not for all in the same manner. There are two choices

Eternally saved or lost forever.
Forever in God’s heavenly kingdom or lost forever in the middle of nowhere.

The oldest book in the world, the Bible, gives advice.
Joy or agony, during lifetime we choose the platform, but after our last breath nothing works.

Decision needed?

If you don’t decide, the agonizing platform is eternally yours, because none of us is without guilt.
Well, offenses must be punished, parents and teachers know it and this demands our law, so it is with God.

Question: Do you like to be ignored? – If we ignore God, then why should he pardon us?

BUT God loves mankind therefore he made a way specifically for those who prefer to have the ticket into never ending joy and peace.

God has so loved mankind that he gave his only Son. Now all who rely on the Son of God, should not perish but have eternal life. God sent the Son into the world not to condemn people but to save them. Whoever adheres to the Son of God, is not condemned. Those who do not adhere to him, is already condemned, because he has not accepted God’s only son. – John 3.16 – 18

Who is now connected with Jesus Christ, is no longer condemned of God.  – Romans 8.1

Ticket booking: Admit to yourself and God your failures and acknowledge Jesus, who paid your debt. God promises he will anyone pardon who turns to Jesus and asks him for forgiveness. Jesus has the power to reconcile us to God and to open the door to God’s heavenly world so we can enter in. Now and forever. – What’s it like? Devine. Sublime. Marvelous. God will dwell with men.

I heard a loud voice from the throne (God) : „Look, God’s dwelling is now among the people. He will dwell with them and they will be his people and God himself will be with them! He will wipe away all their tears, and there will be no death and no sorrow and no crying and no more pain. After the first world with all their mischief is gone forever. „- Revelation chapter 21

Wohin mit dem Leben?

Heute hier, morgen dort … und dann für immer fort?!

Das Leben hat einen einzigen roten Faden, so verworren es auch sein mag. Egal ob man glaubt oder nicht, das Ziel bleibt für alle gleich: Lebensende. Tod.

Stopp! Das ist nicht das Ende! Es geht weiter, für alle. Erleichtert?
Aber nicht für alle in derselben Weise. Es gibt genau zwei Möglichkeiten:

Ewig gerettet oder ewig verloren.
Ewig in Gottes himmlischem Reich leben oder für immer verloren im Nirgendwo.

Das älteste Buch der Welt, die Bibel, gibt Auskunft darüber. Freude oder Qual, die Plattform bestimmen wir während des Lebens, solange wir atmen muss die Entscheidung fallen, danach geht nichts mehr.

Entscheidung nötig?

Wenn du nichts tust, ist dir die qualvolle Plattform für immer und ewig sicher, denn keiner von uns Menschen ist ohne Schuld.
Vergehen müssen geahndet werden, das verlangt unsere Rechtsprechung, so ist es auch bei Gott. Unsere Strafe: Sein im Nirgendwo, das muss schrecklich sein,  für immer.

Doch Gott liebt seine Schöpfung und uns, seine Geschöpfe. Er hat den Ausweg geschaffen für all diejenigen, die lieber das Ticket zur niemals endenden Freude haben möchten.

Gott hat die Menschen so sehr geliebt, dass er seinen einzigen Sohn hergab. Nun werden alle, die sich auf den Sohn Gottes verlassen, nicht zugrunde gehen, sondern ewig leben. Gott sandte den Sohn nicht in die Welt, um die Menschen zu verurteilen, sondern um sie zu retten. Wer sich an den Sohn Gottes hält, wird nicht verurteilt. Wer sich aber nicht an ihn hält, ist schon verurteilt, weil er Gottes einzigen Sohn nicht angenommen hat. -Johannes 3,16-18

Wer nun mit Jesus Christus verbunden ist, wird von Gott nicht mehr verurteilt.
Römerbrief 8,1

Ticket buchen: Dir selbst und Gott deine Fehler eingestehen und Jesus als den anerkennen, der deine Schuld bezahlt hat. Gott verspricht, er wird jeden, wirklich jeden begnadigen, der sich an Jesus wendet und ihn um Vergebung bittet. Jesus hat die Vollmacht uns mit Gott zu versöhnen und die Tür in Gottes himmlische Welt für uns zu öffnen. – Wie es dort ist? Himmlisch. Herrlich. Gerecht. Gott wird bei den Menschen wohnen.

Ich hörte eine laute Stimme vom Thron (Gottes) her rufen: „Siehe, die Wohnung Gottes ist nun bei den Menschen! Er wird bei ihnen wohnen und sie werden sein Volk sein und Gott selbst wird bei ihnen sein. Er wird alle ihre Tränen abwischen, und es wird keinen Tod und keine Trauer und kein Weinen und keinen Schmerz mehr geben. Denn die erste Welt mit ihrem ganzen Unheil ist für immer vergangen.“  – Offenbarung, Kapitel 21

Leben ohne Schuld

Es gibt Hoffnung. Du und ich, wir müssen nicht perfekt sein, wir müssen nicht erfolgreich sein, um angenommen zu sein. Nur Gott alleine ist vollkommen, wir können dieses Ziel niemals aus eigener Anstrengung erreichen. Deshalb reicht er uns die Hand. Er hat eine Brücke gebaut, die die Kluft zwischen ihm und uns überbrückt: Jesus.

Wir tragen alle die tiefe Sehnsucht in uns: Dazu gehören. Dabei sein. Teil von etwas zu sein, das unseren Horizont übersteigt. Wir können diese Sehnsucht nicht stillen. Aber Gott kann.

Es ist unsere Bestimmung zu ihm zu gehören, mit ihm zu leben. Wäre da nicht das Problem unserer Unvollkommenheit. Gott ist perfekt, wir sind voller Fehler, das kann nicht passen. Das spüren wir und versuchen aus eigener Kraft ‚vollkommen‘ zu werden und die Makel zu beseitigen. Es gibt keinen Menschen, auch wenn er sich noch so bemüht, der ohne Fehler ist. Das sagt uns die Bibel, sie ist Gottes Brief an uns Menschen. Und sie sagt uns auch, Gott hat die Lösung.
